Even though Santa Fe Indians Varsity gave up three runs in the fifth inning, they still defeated Shadow Creek 7-3 on Friday. Shadow Creek scored its runs on a double by C LunaSanta Fe Indians Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Juliana Garcia doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run. Santa Fe Indians Varsity put up three runs in the fourth inning. Santa Fe Indians Varsity scored its runs on a triple by Ryleigh Mata.

Mady Blake got the win for Santa Fe Indians Varsity. She lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out three.

Z Bennett took the loss for Shadow Creek. She went six innings, allowing seven runs on ten hits, striking out seven and walking one.

R Smith started the game for Santa Fe Indians Varsity. She allowed zero hits and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out three

Santa Fe Indians Varsity totaled ten hits. GarciaRylie BouvierMata, and Ciara Trahan all had multiple hits for Santa Fe Indians VarsityTrahanMataBouvier, and Garcia all had two hits to lead Santa Fe Indians Varsity.
