Santa Fe Indians JV’s effort to come back from down four runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 5-4 to Barbers Hill on Saturday. Santa Fe Indians JV tallied four runs in the failed comeback. Cole Young, Ashton Lozano, and Tripp Godinich all picked up RBIs in the rally.
Santa Fe Indians JV fell behind early in the loss. Barbers Hill scored on a double by Jacobs and a double by Campbell in the first inning.
Barbers Hill opened up scoring in the first inning. Jacobs doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Santa Fe Indians JV scored three runs in the fifth inning. Lozano and Godinich all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
