Santa Fe Indians Varsity knocked in five runs in the first on its way to a 9-1 victory over Fort Bend Clements on Saturday. The rally was led by an error on a ball put in play by Ryleigh Mata and Miranda Trigo and a double by Rylie Bouvier.

Santa Fe Indians Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Bouvier doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Emily Hartnett led things off on the rubber for Santa Fe Indians Varsity. She allowed one hit and one run over four innings, walking one.

Zimos led things off in the circle for Fort Bend Clements. She went three and a third innings, allowing nine runs on seven hits and striking out three.

Santa Fe Indians Varsity racked up seven hits in the game. Ciara Trahan, Bouvier, and Juliana Garcia each managed multiple hits for Santa Fe Indians Varsity. Garcia, Bouvier, and Trahan each managed two hits to lead Santa Fe Indians Varsity. Santa Fe Indians Varsity stole 12 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Maggie Childs led the way with two.
